He turned to Jenny and shook his head. “I can’t believe you walked away from someone you truly loved just so you could fit in. I’m hurt that you used me, but I’ll get over it. Maybe we can still be friends. If she hadn’t already tanned your backside, I promise you’d be across my knee right now. I can’t believe how selfish you’ve been.”

Jenny started to cry again. “I’m sorry Paul. If I wasn’t gay, I hope you’d be the type of man I’d fall in love with. You’re so kind and caring, but I love Hazel. I can’t help it.”

“She obviously loves you too, judging by the spanking she just gave you. That was given with love and I’d like to bet it really stings. If I hadn’t seen it for myself, I wouldn’t have believed she was capable.”

Hazel felt sympathy for them both. Paul seemed a really nice guy and was obviously keen on Jenny. He’d clearly been very patient with her. She shuddered as she thought what might have happened to Jenny if she’d chosen the wrong man to play her silly games with. She noticed Jenny was blushing and guessed she was embarrassed that Paul had seen her spanked on her bare bottom. It certainly sounded like that was a part of her anatomy Paul had not been at all familiar with.

“You’re going to tell everyone I’m gay, aren’t you?” asked Jenny, looking up at Paul.

Paul shook his head. “It’s your business Jenny, but I think you need to tell your friends and stop being so stupid. They’ll understand and if they don’t they’re not worth knowing.”

Hazel sighed. “I’m going home. I’m going to see Charles. It would be nice if you did too. He isn’t well and he’s missing you a lot. Surely you owe him at least a visit after all he’s done for you. He’s breaking his heart trying to understand what he’s done wrong.”

Hazel marched towards the door and walked out, slamming it behind her. The tears rolled down her cheeks as she quickly made her way home. She was sobbing and shaking as she reached the front door, acknowledging if only to herself that she loved Jenny and wanted her back, but she couldn’t so easily forgive her. Besides, Jenny hadn’t even said she wanted to come back.

Hazel had been home less than five minutes when there was a quiet knock at the front door. She hadn’t even let Charles know she was home yet. Hazel walked to the door and pulled it open, not really surprised to see Jenny standing there. She’d stopped crying but her eyes were swollen. Hazel wondered if she’d been too hard on her. “You’d better come in.”

Jenny followed Hazel through the house and into the garden. “He isn’t in the house so I’m guessing he’s in the cottage. You might as well know that Harry doesn’t live in there. This wasn’t a gift for Charles’ gardener. It was a Christmas gift for us. What a shame he wasted his love and money on someone as selfish as you.”

Hazel turned away from Jenny and stepped into the cottage. She really didn’t care if her harsh words hurt Jenny. She deserved to know how much she’d hurt others with her selfish actions.

Jenny followed Hazel into the cottage and was given a quick guided tour. “It’s beautiful Hazel. These are all the furnishings we chose on shopping trips with Charles in the summer. I wondered why he never bought anything we liked.”

Hazel nodded. “Yes, there seemed little point in him asking our opinion as he bought something different each time. He had the house completely redecorated but not one thing, apart from our bedrooms, was our choice. He told me just after you’d left that he went back later and bought everything we’d chosen for the cottage. He said it was a hard secret to keep, but we were worth it. Pity he was so wrong about you,” Hazel said, glaring at Jenny.

Hazel smiled as Jenny started to cry. She was pleased to see her hurting after all the pain she’d caused.

“I’m so sorry Hazel. When Judge Walker found me a place of my own I thought it would give me a chance to sort myself out, see if my feelings for you were real. I’ve never been so miserable in my whole life. I missed you both and I wanted to come home every minute of every day.”

Hazel turned away from her. “Shush, I can hear something.” Jenny listened and they followed the sound into the only room they hadn’t been in. Hazel turned to see Jenny’s eyes widen with surprise as she walked into the design studio that Charles had included in the cottage plans so Jenny could continue her studies at home. In the corner of the room was a sofa where Charles sat crying, clutching a photo.

Hazel approached him and sat down, looking at the framed photo of Charles, Jenny and herself in happier times. “Charles, I’ve brought someone to see you.”

Charles looked up and smiled at Jenny. She ran across the room and threw her arms around him. “I’m so sorry Sir. I love you so much. I would have stayed if you’d asked me to, even without this beautiful cottage. When I said I was moving out, I thought you wanted me to go.”

Charles shook his head. “I’m sorry you both had to see me like this. I’m a silly old man. Ignore me.”

Hazel hugged him tight. “I love you so much Charles.”

Jenny hugged him from the other side, pushing her way in. “I love you too Sir.”

Charles laughed. “I hope you’re not going to start fighting over me otherwise I’ll have to start smacking bottoms.”

Hazel glared and Jenny backed away from him.

“I was only teasing. Come here and give me a hug, both of you. I hope this means you’re coming home Jenny.”

Hazel and Jenny cuddled into him and Jenny whispered “yes Sir, if you’ll have me”. Hazel looked up at Charles as he nodded. He looked happy and she decided not to spoil the moment by reminding him how much Jenny had hurt them both.

The three of them hugged for a long time, Jenny trying to talk to Charles and explain why she left, but crying constantly. Hazel listened as Jenny told Charles she wasn’t happy in her new life and had longed to come home since the day she left.

Hazel was surprised when Jenny asked Charles to spank her. “Sir, I really hurt you and Hazel and I know I was wrong. I deserve to be spanked and I want you to do it now.”

Charles shook his head. “No Jenny, there’ll be no spanking today. I’m just happy to have you home again.”

Jenny stood and lifted her dress, smirking at Hazel. Suddenly Hazel realised what she was up to as she lowered herself across Charles’ lap, taking her panties down. Charles looked in shock at Jenny’s bare bottom. “Jenny, who on earth did that to you?”

Hazel stood up and backed away from them. “I’m sorry Sir, but she deserved it.”

Charles looked even more horrified as he stared at Hazel. He rubbed Jenny’s bottom gently. “You poor thing, that must really hurt.”

“It does Sir. It hurts so much, but I guess I deserved it. Hazel seemed to think I did, though thankfully she stopped when the hairbrush snapped in half.”

Hazel was furious. Jenny was deliberately trying to get her into trouble and judging by the look on Charles’ face she’d succeeded.

“You little cow. I’ll get you back for this. If you think I’m going to forgive you now you’re stupider than I thought. You can go to hell. If that stupid hairbrush hadn’t broken in half I’d still be paddling your fat arse now.”

“Hazel, that’s quite enough,” scolded Charles.

Looking at Charles’ angry face, Hazel immediately calmed down. “I’m sorry Sir. I did do that to her, but I believe she deserved it. You know how much she hurt me Sir – and you.” Hazel started to cry and covered her face with her hands. “I just wanted her to feel the pain she’d caused to us both Sir,” she sobbed.

Hazel smiled smugly to herself as she knew she’d win Charles round quickly with her little performance. Two could play at Jenny’s game. She was shocked when a loud crack echoed round the room and her mouth fell open as she saw Charles firmly holding Jenny across his knee as his hand smacked all the way down the back of her thighs. Jenny kicked her legs and raised her head as she yelled in pain.

“Let me make one thing clear young lady, and this goes for you both. Neither of you are too big to be spanked. I’m not ab
out to put up with your silly games anymore. They end now.”

Hazel nodded as Charles looked sternly at her. He looked back at Jenny’s bottom and continued to spank her thighs. “I’m not going to smack your bottom Jenny because it looks very painful, so I’ll simply smack your legs instead. You’re being spanked because you deliberately tried to get Hazel into trouble. I won’t put up with that. And Hazel, if you move from this room I’ll take you out into the street and spank you where everyone can watch. Believe me, the mood I’m in I would do it.”

Hazel swallowed hard as she watched his hand moving quickly up and down Jenny’s thighs as Jenny sobbed and begged him to stop.

“Please Sir, don’t spank her anymore. I’m so sorry I hit her. I shouldn’t have done it, but I was hurt and angry. I wanted her to know how much she’d hurt me.”

Charles immediately stopped spanking and helped Jenny to her feet. He hugged and kissed her before standing her in front of him. “Jenny, please go to the house and get Hazel’s hairbrush.” Jenny nodded and quickly left the room. Hazel stepped towards Charles, unbuttoning her jeans and pushing them down to her knees, followed by her panties. “I’m so sorry Sir. I really am.” She hugged him quickly before lowering herself across his lap. He wrapped his arm around her waist and she held her breath as her tears dripped onto the floor.

Hazel was thoroughly miserable as she lay across Charles’ lap, waiting for her spanking to begin. She thought back to when Jenny was across her own lap and couldn’t believe how hard she’d punished her. She knew she deserved to be spanked equally as hard and she was absolutely terrified. Waiting for him to start was even worse, but she guessed he was waiting for Jenny to return.

“I really am very sorry Sir. Please forgive me,” she sobbed.

Hazel jumped as Charles put his hand on her bottom and she felt uncomfortable as he rubbed gently. Despite her efforts to be brave she continued to sob and when she heard Jenny’s footsteps across the room she cried harder. Seconds later the hard wood of her hairbrush cracked down on her bottom and she threw her head back and cried out, her legs kicking as her bottom burned with pain.

Charles cracked the hairbrush down on her other buttock and she yelled for him to stop. “Did you stop when Jenny asked you to?” he demanded. Hazel shook her head as she miserably accepted her fate. The hairbrush continued to crack down relentlessly and soon every inch of her bottom was stinging. She wasn’t surprised when he spanked her thighs too, but it proved too much for her to cope with and she howled in pain, kicking her legs and reaching back to try and stop the hairbrush landing yet again on her reddened flesh.

Finally Charles stopped and rubbed her bottom gently as Hazel broke down in tears, crying so hard she was finding it difficult to breathe. Charles helped her up and held her as she sobbed. “I’m so sorry Sir.” He held her tight. “I know you are Hazel and I hope you feel better now.” Hazel clung tightly to him as she cried, nodding her head against his chest.

As Charles continued to comfort Hazel, he turned to Jenny. “Jenny, this cottage was for you and Hazel. I didn’t want to lose you both and thought that by keeping you close, but still giving you the privacy you needed, we could all be happy. I don’t know what I did to drive you away.”

Jenny shook her head. “Nothing Sir, I was confused about my relationship with Hazel. I needed to get away and think about it, see if our love was real.”

Hazel looked up. “I can answer that for you. Our love wasn’t real. I never loved you. It was fun while it lasted but I don’t miss you at all. I can see what a selfish, nasty little bitch you are and I’m glad you’ve gone. I can’t believe how much you’ve hurt Charles. He did everything for you and you threw it all back in his face. I hate you.” Hazel glared at Jenny as her tears continued to flow.

Charles held Hazel in his arms as he kissed her gently. “Hazel, please don’t talk like that. You miss Jenny as much as I do. You told me only yesterday that you love her so much you can’t live without her.”

Hazel glared at Jenny as she watched her wiping away her tears.

“Hazel, I still love you. I want things back to the way they were. I want to come home.”

Charles reached out to Jenny with one arm, as he kept the other firmly wrapped around Hazel. Hazel was angry. Charles had been as upset as she was, yet he was forgiving Jenny and welcoming her back as if she’d done nothing wrong.

Hazel shook her head. “I can’t believe you’re letting her come back. I hope she’ll be living in here and I can stay in my bedroom in the house. I want to see her as little as possible.”

Charles sighed. “Jenny, go into the house and put the kettle on. Hazel and I will join you shortly.”

Jenny got up and headed to the door. As she reached it she stopped and turned around, looking at Hazel. “I’m so sorry Hazel. I love you so much. I don’t blame you for spanking me, I deserved it. I’d take that horrible spanking ten times over if you’d only forgive me.”

Hazel closed her eyes and hugged Charles. She was biting her lip to hold back her tears. When she glanced towards the door she was pleased to see Jenny had left. She loved her so much, but she wouldn’t ever give her the opportunity to hurt her again.

“Hazel, I can’t believe you spanked her so hard. Did it make you feel better?”

Hazel lifted her head and looked at Charles. She shook her head slowly. “No Sir. I wanted to show her how much I hate her, but it isn’t true - I still love her Sir.” Hazel sobbed and trembled in his arms. “I don’t want to love her. She hurt me too much.”

“Hazel, we can’t help who we fall in love with. Jenny’s sorry she hurt you. Don’t throw it all away. At least talk to her.”

“Sir, I can’t forgive her. She hurt me and more importantly she hurt you.” Hazel shook her head as she tried to understand how Jenny could have been so selfish to the man who’d given her everything.

“Sir, do you hate me for spanking her?”

Charles held her in his arms, kissing her softly and reassuring her. “Hazel, I love you now as much as ever. I could never hate you, but I also love Jenny and I want both of you around.”

Hazel gave him a small smile as he helped her up and led her out of the cottage and into the house. “I’ll try to tolerate her Sir, but I can’t just go back to the way things were.” Charles nodded as he led her into the kitchen where Jenny was waiting with three steaming cups of coffee.

They sat down together and Hazel watched as Charles chatted to Jenny, who clearly felt uncomfortable as her answers were short and she constantly fidgeted. She kept looking at Hazel and smiling, but Hazel didn’t return her smiles.

Eventually Jenny turned to Hazel. “Hazel, I’m so sorry. I promise nothing happened with Paul. I was scared I wouldn’t be accepted at college if they knew I was a lesbian. One of my friends told me I had to get a boyfriend and give you up otherwise I had no future there. As you could see Paul was disappointed, but he said I need to do what makes me happy. You’re the only one that makes me truly happy Hazel. I miss you so much and I love you.”

Hazel felt better to hear an explanation for Jenny’s behaviour and she tingled inside when she heard her declare her love for her, but she wasn’t ready to forgive her. She couldn’t just forget the hurt she’d caused her and she couldn’t risk it happening again.

Hazel took a deep breath. “Thank you for explaining Jenny, but you going away gave me time to think too. I realise that you’re too immature for me. I confused love with lust. I’ll be civil to you, for Charles’ sake, but nothing more.”

Hazel turned and left the room, not trusting herself to say any more. She ran up to her room, lay on her bed and cried herself to sleep.

Waking a couple of hours later with a sore throat and puffy eyes, as well as an extremely sore bottom, Hazel was surprised to find Charles sitting beside her, stroking her hair and smiling. She knew he loved her and right now that was all that mattered. She reached out and hugged him, shutting everything else from her mind as she sobbed.

br />   “Let’s go downstairs and have dinner. Jenny’s prepared everything and it’s almost ready.” Putting his arm around Hazel he led her down to the kitchen. Hazel felt a mixture of emotions as she watched Jenny. She hated her for leaving and causing so much pain, but she also loved her more than she could ever imagine loving anyone.

She wanted to punish her again, to see her scream and cry and beg her forgiveness, but at the same time she wanted to kiss and caress her reddened bottom and apologise for causing her so much pain. She wanted to slap her hard for causing Charles so much hurt, but she also wanted to kiss her and tell her she forgave her. She wanted to throw her out and tell her never to come back, but more than that she wanted to take her to bed and make love to her.

Jenny took the plates to the table and when she sat down Charles and Hazel joined her. They ate in silence. At the end of the meal Hazel washed up and Jenny dried the dishes and put them away. They didn’t speak at all. When they’d finished Jenny said she was tired and went up to her room. After hugging and kissing Charles and crying in his arms yet again, Hazel also went upstairs.

Charles was dismayed they’d gone to their own separate rooms. He stood outside their doors listening to them both cry. He hoped tomorrow they might finally start to heal the rift between them.

  Chapter Six

HAZEL stood outside Charles’ bedroom, breathing deeply as she tried to calm herself down. She was clutching her hairbrush tightly as she looked at his door, trying to build up the courage to knock. She thought he might be asleep and didn’t want to wake him, but as she could see the light underneath his bedroom door she guessed he was probably reading in bed. She didn’t want to disturb his reading and considered returning to her room. As tears rolled down her cheeks she knocked sharply on his door and walked in, holding the hairbrush behind her.
